Reviews:
He's got the poetry...He's got the chops ! David Broza is one of the strongest singer/songwriters to come along in many years. His guitar playing is second to none, and his writing is inspired. He is equally at home in English, Spanish and Hebrew. The blend of these three distinct styles is unbelievably gorgeous. One of the things I really love about Broza's music is his ability to set poetry to music. He takes classic poems and puts a driving beat to them and makes them live all over again. If he can breathe life into a chestnut like "O Captain, My Captain." the boy has *got it" !!!!! This is Broza's best album to date. Broza's is the greatest guitar player in the world and this album is his best yet. Amazing Guitar Sound Broza combines Spanish chords with soom Middle-Eastern melodies to an unsurpassable degree of excellence. A blend of American country and MiddleEastern romanticism David Broza writes and sings some of the most hauntingly romantic songs I've ever heard on the Stone Doors CD. I loved the MiddleEastern flavor to his writing. The BEST song on the CD was left off the above Amazon description: "If You Don't Kiss Me"-- is the most romantic song I've ever heard! |
