James Taylor - Greatest Hits, Vol. 2 [Read More ...]

James Taylor: Greatest Hits [Read More ...]
Description: James Taylor's mid-'70s departure from Warner Bros. may be one of the best things that ever happened to the label; otherwise, it might not have been in such a rush to compile his Greatest Hits, one of the company's biggest sellers ever at 11 million and counting. Taylor's style, ...
James Taylor (Live) [Read More ...]
Description: A sweeping, 30-track career retrospective that leaves almost nothing out, Live is a much more filling meal than the two-part Best Live series, each of which contains 12 tracks. Fans will want one or the other of these packages, and will need no further elaboration on their merits...
JT [Read More ...]
JT- the best one:What an artist !!!! A great beginning for a great artist. A great album for any fan of his.
Hourglass [Enhanced CD] [Read More ...]
Description: The merchant of mellow's first studio album since New Moon Shine (1991), and you've gotta have a heart of naugahyde not to be touched by the simplicity and uncommon wisdom of these dozen tunes. "Little More Time with You" is a trademark Taylor single augmented by a Stevie Wonder ...

Have A Nice Decade: The '70s Pop Culture Box [Read More ...]
Description: When this material originally resurfaced in an earlier Rhino-celebrates-the-'70s program, many rock scribes contorted themselves into revisionist pretzels: this isn't so bad, they argued--none too convincingly. There'll be none of that here: much of the music on this colossal box...
The Collection [Read More ...]
Hourglass [Read More ...]
Review: A James Taylor Surprise, Hourglass:How did I miss this?? Was there a time warp of some kind? This is a great sound experience and an tasteful mix for SACD surround that somehow got by me for too long. It brings James Taylor into a new light for me and it is only challenged by his...
Liberty! (1997 Television Mini-series) [Read More ...]
OK:Good CD, especially if you're a fan of Mark O'Conner. I have to admit that a couple of the tracks seem rather directionless (in a Vaughn Williams sort of way) and I tend to lose interest, but other tracks are fun, even exciting. The production is excellent throughout.
For Our Children: 10th Anniversary Edition [Read More ...]
Description: For Our Children launched in 1990 and in many ways inspired the bounty of celebrity-philanthropy records for kids in its wake. From Bob Dylan and Sting to Barbra Streisand, Paul McCartney, and Elton John, the roster on this cornucopia of great kid songs--and even greater interpre...
James Taylor (Best Live) [Read More ...]
Review: Get this if you must...:...but it would be better if you got the original double-CD Live. Having seen JT live a number of times, I can say that the performances they managed to record during the course of this tour are some of the better ones he's done.Still, if you get this one...
That's Why I'm Here [Read More ...]
wonderful:Picked this one up at B&N the other day. Am thoroughly enjoying the mellowness of this CD. A real delight! Great to listen to at work. Great to chill to.
