I AGREE WITH MELODIOUS:This is some of Monk's best work. But then he has aways been at his "best". These CDs near the end of his life, are so thoughtful, so melodius (there's that word again). His music "sings" and Monk sings along with it. Fingernails? I never would have thought "fingernails". |
