Reviews:

great longterm value
I have had this watch for 10 years, and apart from 2 battery changes, it has kept time flawlessly. I have used it for all types of water sports, without any problems. Despite heavy, daily use, and several drops on concrete, the crystal looks brand new. My only criticizm is the metal bracelet, two of which I have gone through due to bending of the link closest to the spring bar (a solid link would be better). I have switched to the rubber strap, which is very sturdy, although takes a little "breaking in" to get the stiffness out. The watch is heavy, which hasn't bothered me except for certain activities like tennis. Overall, great value for the money.

beautiful and practical
I value simplicity, clean lines and practicality. This watch satisfies each criteria wonderfully. It is a little on the big side, but I've not noticed an issue with that when wearing dress shirts. Not too "blingy." But, still not too modest for formal occasions.

Nice watch -- but look at the picture closely.
This is a fine "dress diver" watch, with a hefty but not uncomfortable weight. The silver bezel makes is dressier than a black bezel watch without compromising its usefulness. With a 200M rating, this is sutable for scuba diving. I have owned (and used) several dive watches over the years, and in my option, Seiko makes the best product available. I have smallish wrists, and this watch does not look overpowering when I wear it. The only word of caution on this item is to look closely at the bezel -- it's asymmetrical, with larger "bumps" on two of the sides. It's not apparent in the pictures, but was the first thing I noticed when I took it out of the box. Still, I haven't let it detract from a fine dive watch.

The best Seiko Dive Watch
Several things make this watch the best Seiko Dive Watch. First, the movement is Quartz, so you can leave the watch off for several days/weeks and it will keep time (unlike the "automatic" or "kinetic" movements). Second the bezel is silver not black so scratches don't show. Third the crystal is VERY scratch resistant. Fourth, nice metal band with the "double" lock. Fifth, It has a low battery indicator (second hand jumps two seconds when battery is low) AND you can get batteries that last close to five years. Next, obviously, it is VERY waterproof. But the best feature of this watch is that it keeps time VERY accurately. You can pay a lot more for an Omega or a Tag H or a Rolex if your ego needs the boost, but I don't think you can buy a better Dive Watch
