Reviews:
So lightweight!!
I have the titanium and stainless steel model of this watch. They are like night and day as far a weight. The titanium model feels as thought it weighs almost half as much as the other. I am very happy with this purchace as I got it for way under MSRP. Would highly recommend this watch to anyone who likes understated good looks! The only downside is that you cannot read this watch in the dark without another light source.
An excellent value
First off, this is the first watch I have ever purchased over $50 (although I have a fine Heuer stopwatch recieved as a gift fifty years ago and still perfect). I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SEIKO ARCTURA !!!!It not only functions perfectly, it is a thing of real beauty. As you can see , I am enjoying it.
classy at best, low-key for the modest...
Seiko's Ti Arctura envelopes your wrist once you let it meld and settle. It's classy in form and style, yet low-key for modest goers as socialites! The polished band definitely garners attention from people you interact with and you can tell their eyes are following your wrist as though you're examining someone for an optometrist visit.
Functions of the watch engage your mindset into 007 movements, especially when you're timing an event or timing someone to arrive and tracking their punctuality...it's quite useful. I figured I push the limits of this watch while taking laps in the pool--definitely withstands the thrashing of heavily chlorinated water without marring color or shine. One would come to reason that wearing this watch while swimming would bias a heavy-sided drag...pish posh!!! Surprisingly, you'll be enlightened that fueling retail therapy is worth the extra incentive for less weight!.. Yes, Titanium is much much lighter!
If you're wearing a blazer during the Autumn, it's nice to let this watch peak beyond your cuffs with a martini. If you're kicking it on the weekends with white t-shirt and jeans it's sporty enough to induce an image of youth.

Nice Watch. Looks Better in Person.
I bought this watch about two months ago. It is the first watch I have ever owned that cost me over $50. That being said, I tend to still wear it like a sports watch. So far it has been very durable for me. I have dinged it up against a few things and the face of the watch is still perfectly clear. The body of the watch is very thin and doesn't catch on things, which is a problem I have had in the past with other watches.
The watch is very lightweight for a metal watch. It weighs about the same as a digital watch. It is a good looking watch, too. I was a bit hesitant to buy the watch because the picture made it look pretty dull, but I went to Seiko's website and it looked better on there. On the face of the watch, the outer ring is actually a refletive metal, although the picture makes it look like a grey paint. Also, the dots that indicate the hour marks are almost like mirrors and catch the light well.
The only thing that takes getting used to on this watch is the fact that the time is displayed in about 1/3 of the face and the rest of the face is for the chronograph function. Also, if you are like me and have had a lot of sports watches, it's hard to get used to not having multiple time zones, alarms, timers, etc, but I knew that before I bought it, so no complaints.
The only complaint I have is that the glow-in-the-dark strips built into the hour and minute hand barely work. Unless I remember to hold the face of the watch up to a light to charge them up, I can't tell what time it is in the dark.
Overall, it is a very nice watch.
Lightweight & VERY cool!
I got this watch for my husband for our anniversary. He absolutely loves it. It's a substantial watch, but it's so lightweight that he doesn't feel the need to take it off right when he gets home from work. It looks great with everything. The picture doesn't do it justice. And for such incredible savings, you can't go wrong! You won't regret it. Definitely buy this watch.
