A good looking piece, but lacking in subtlety.
This watch is a good value for the money, but the design is brutal. I like a timepiece with a little more nuance than the Sturling, which is solid, heavy, with a thick band, large dial, and conspicuous knobs. Even on the absolute tightest setting the band was too loose on my wrist(circumference ca. 8-9 inches). This is a watch for big dudes with wrists like pro-wrestlers and fingers like polish sausages. This is a watch for dudes who don't say "dude". Ever. The face resists scratches very well, and the construction of the band and clasp is solid. The gold on the band scratches relatively easily, but its not as noticeable as you might think. Time keeping is accurate, battery has a good life-span. Over all, the watch looks more expensive than it is, which is either something that appeals to you or not. I doubt anyone would actually take this diving...

Swiss quartz without buyers remorse.
This is a great watch for any man of modest means who dreams of owning a Omega Seamaster or similar without going into debt. The watch came in an orange case with warrenty card & return envelope, polishing cloth and a neat "credit" type card verifying authenticity. I am most impressed with the watch itself. The watch markers really do "glow" in the dark just like higher priced diving watches(this is a really nice because so many watch brands advertise "luminous" hands that are anything but!). The date window cyclops is prboably 1.5 x's magnification (not 2.+x's like a Rolex) which is really easy to read without squinting:) Plase read the manual before attemping to set the date/time as the mechanism can be damaged if set during certain times of the day. At first blush the band clasp seemed kinda cheap but the double locking clasp is just fine. I took my watch to a jewler to take out a few links for a perfect fit. The watch is large and will make an impression! The cystel is very clear and resists glare. I chose quartz after reading a bad review for the automatic version of this watch. The jewler who adjusted the band had a $1300.00 Omega Seamaster that I compared to my watch. The band on the Omega was heavier and the clasp is more substantial. But @ $129.00 this watch is a real bargain for the money.

Stuhrling Men's Clpper Divers Watch is Great!
I received this watch as a Christmas present and was impressed right away with the box! Once inside the box, I found my amazing time piece. I could tell right away that it was a very high quality watch. I like the weight, not too heavy, but heavy enough. The blue dial and bezel are striking on the stainless and gold background. Overall, I'm very impressed!
