I rarely write reviews, but had to write one to balance the other reviews. I have had mine for two years- run three times per week, swim 2 hours per week, and keep it on all the time. The Indeglo still works fine. It is a bit scratched up on the silver and the blue is a bit grayer...but that happens to ALL my watches over time, since I treat them the same way. I AM buying a new one because the circle piece that holds the end of the band in broke...but it's about time for a new one, so I wasn't surprised- it's had over 17,000 hours of use.

Indiglo dies quickly, some discoloration/otherwise good
I bought this watch at a department store and the indiglo wore out within the first year of use. It's really annoying NOT having indiglo now. Also, the watch can get grungy-looking if you wear it a lot...I wear mine all the time and the wristbands have added a nice shade of dirty gray to them. I don't know if this is from washing my hands with it on or what...but it just gets dirty easily. The silver color that surrounds the faceplate wears off easily and shows the ugly gray underneath. I also seem to get the faceplate scratched easily, and sometimes these random white marks will show up that i can scratch off with my fingernail, but i have to do it more often than I like. There are some positive things about this watch, though. It comes in many different colors, it's light, it has three alarms (which you can set to pretty much anything--daily, weekday, weekend, or on a specific day), a timer, a chronological clock, and an interval timer (I think that's what inttmr stands for...). I find the three alarms very useful, but you have to go back through the whole menu once you set one of them. Timex watches are weird about their menus that way. So, other than discoloration and the short-lived indiglo light, this watch is a pretty good deal for its cost.

Good watch, unless you actually train for triathlons...
I bought this watch from a retail store (at about $55, so amazon has a good price), but as soon as I started using it to train for races I became dissatisfied with it. After being in and out of the pool a few times, the color changed from a bright blue to a dingy green and yellow. The indiglo backlight was the second thing to go, and the watch is useless at night. The timer stopped ringing when time is up, so I have to constantly look down at my watch to check when my workout is done- I'm sure water got in it. Finally, chlorine and sweat have made the watchband crack against my skin until the thing finally broke and fell off. If you actually run triathlons, find a different watch.
