What are you talking about? It is great!
I just got mine in the mail today. It is sooo nice, material is great and I love the shape of it.
I'm 5.8" (173sm) and 120lb or so(52kg) and I got size M, it is perfect. Sleeves are just right, they could be a little bit longer for people that like to wear them down, but I like to pull them up- it makes the shape even better.
Pullover comes down to my hips, a little bit wide at the bottom, but not too baggy.
Does not come off one shoulder, ja guess, I just nee to stretch it a bit if I want to. But 've got wide shoulders, so may not be an issue for everybody else.
I actually ordered it for my hip hop dance classes, but now that I saw it- it is too nice for them!
And if you are still unsure about the size- go to American apparel website and read the reviews, they have like hundreds of them, where people tell you what size they got for their weight and height, that could help you out.

I'm 5'3" somewhere around 90 pounds & these aren't too short for me at all. I got the Athletic Blue in small & it fits perfectly! It stops about an inch below the belt loops on my jeans. I also got the black in medium & I was kind of scared it'd be too big but it actually fit quite perfectly also, except a bit baggier but in a good way :)
So comfortable
First of all this is extremely comfortable. The fit is easy and breathable.
When I first got it I was slightly disappointed because there's no real way to dress this up. I thought maybe w/a belt, or i could wear it off the shoulder w/ skinny jeans or leggings, but I don't think that would really work.
However, I am very happy with it. It's so incredibly soft! It isn't so casual that it can't be worn to a casual dinner or a class, etc.
I'm torn on the sizing issue- normally I get a L in AA, and i got a large this time. I think the medium would fit better since it is slouchy, but it would probably be a bit too short. I think I am going to order another in a medium as well, to see if it's more "going-out" appropriate.

I am a huge american apparel lover!!! I ordered mine in a large in orchid and it is beautiful. it's soft and everything i exspected it to be. im 17 so i usually wear it at school or just on lazy days at home or at the store. it is very comfortable and half the price that american apparel sells it for which is almost 40 bucks. this is a must buy!!! my height is 4'10 and I weigh around 130 so the large was just perfect,no complaints.
COMFORTABLE
I purchased this in Orchid and Black in a Medium to compensate for the shortness in length. As a result, I have 2 tops which are overly loose and slouchy but still short!! They're really very comfortable and I'd exchange them if I were willing to go through the hassle. I'd definitely order your regular size.
