Can't believe I'm reviewing socks.
It's a sad day for me, internet sock reviewer, but these socks deserve some praise.
Knee-high and good elastic meet my two main criteria: Not making it past the tops of my boots, and/or sliding down my leg into my boot. As for answering the negative reviewer who stated these would only fit those with broomsticks for legs - the elastic IS strong, so perhaps you'd benefit from some time in the gym hitting the weights. You might have better luck pulling them on.

Nice colors and if you have very skinny legs these socks will be the thing. I mean no one who has a leg wider then a broom handle will be wearing these socks. I threw mine out.

Who knew buying socks could be such a pain? Most socks have really cheap elastic along the neck and they just WON'T STAY UP! If I'm working in the yard and need heavy boots, there's nothing worse than having to stop every five minutes and hike your socks up. Took a chance on these after reading the reviews, and while not perfect, pretty durn close. Stayed up almost all day with minimal slippage. Ridiculous that it's so hard to find...but here they are. About to order another pair or two right now.

I actually took these and filled them with dry rice and sewed the end. They can then be heated in the microwave and put around your neck for aches and pains. Much cheaper than the ones you see at the mall. The bright colors made them pretty. Nice heavy socks.

Great socks! Very snug, but in a good way. I was surprised at how long they were. They went great with my Incredible Hulk costume.
