Great jeans.. for about 2 weeks
When I received these jeans (just before Christmas) and tried them on I was very happy; they were perfect fitting and looked great. I was looking forward to them being my new favorite pair of jeans for 2010. However after a few wears and a couple washes, the jeans already have developed a bunch of tears on the back side that pretty much make them unwearable in public (unless you don't mind everyone behind you seeing your boxers). For reference, I have an office job and I'm generally pretty lazy so I don't do much manual labor; so these jeans tore simply from being washed a couple times (i.e. they didn't get torn from me wearing them while rebuilding a car engine or framing a new house or something like that.) The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because they looked real good for a couple weeks... otherwise they wouldn't have gotten any stars.
Bad Manufactured material
I tried twice to buy these jeans, sent the first pair back and ordered a replacement pair. The replacement pair had the same torn riped material on the back left pocket as the first pair. Also material around a few belt loops looked and felt worned. I still like Levi's Silvertab jeans, I just did not have a good expirence with the one I tried to purchase via Amazon.com. I sent both pair back for a full refund.

I love these jeans. I feel hot and sexy in them. Not sure anyone else thinks I do, but does that really matter?

Second hand jeans?
Purchased two pairs of the Halogen color and upon receipt it appeared as if the jeans had been passed through multiple retail outlets and/or been purchased and previosuly returned.
On the back waistband where tags were applied there were mutiple little holes where it had appeared the jeans had been tagged, retagged and then tagged again over time.
I kept them, but can't help but wonder where exactly these jeans had been and whether they were truly a new pair of jeans I had purchased at regular prices (I only purchased them online because it is difficult to find my size in retail locations - I wear 38 x 36).

These pants are very comfortable, but there is a strange stitch that comes out right under the front pockets. no big deal but a little odd. they seem pretty durable though
