I love the towel as it was great for my sweaty palms! Great towel!
I bought this towel after noticing people who had a similar one in my yoga class. I found out that the towel they were using was over $80 (Amazon sells this towel for less but it's still more expensive). I find the Manduka towel to do a great job absorbing my sweat, and I love its softness and color! I'm so glad I found it before spending more on another towel. Manduka eQua Towel
Awesome towel! It is super absorbent leaving the surface dry and slip-free. It fits my Hugger Mugger Mat nicely. great for hot yoga, with some caveats
I practice heated vinyasa, so this was great considering how much i move (a lot!) and sweat (I lose about a pound and a half if I don't drink!) throughout the class. It does wrinkle ever so slightly throughout class, but not enough to be a distraction. It's more or less slip proof, but you do have to spray it down pretty generously with water before you start. In fact, the towel dries out so rapidly in the heat I have to get it uncomfortably damp at the beginning of class--but just at the spots where I put my hands and feet in downdog. However, for the price, it was well worth it--you can get two of these for the price of one yogitoes towel, and use it as a regular towel. Plus, it's a little larger than the yogitoes standard and I do appreciate the extra room. awesome yogi tool
This towel works best when you wet the towel where you will place your feet and hands with a bit of water. This prevents sliding when in downward dog. I love the absorbency of this towel. |
