I like his voice but the music...
Not sure I can get on board with this album. I think that Zac's voice is really cool but I just don't think the lyrics are winning me over here. Am I the only one who doesn't want to hear about his [...] in the sand?

This is the new face? Heard it all before. Commercial emptiness for the masses. Soulless foder. Just what the American public craves and understands.
Some great Country tunes
This is a short review (cuz I'm Lazy) If you like country music with good musicianship and down home flavor, you will love this cd..It has become one of my favorite Out of 400 + cds (15% country 35% "sort of" country,15% Blues,Some Knopfler, Van Morrison, Petty, Rait, and a lot of Texas to round it out.)..
This group needs to record some more music, because they have it!!!!!!
Now this is country!
There are many new artists out there claiming to be "country" singers. However, their music ranges somewhere between pop and rock. Drop in this Zac Brown cd and enjoy music that reminds you of previous greats. There's no stress in their voices nor strain in the lyrics. Just great country music! We're looking forward to their next release.
Fantastic
From start to finish, this album is a winner. These guys are great players and Zac Brown has a warm, emotional voice that, at times, recalls James Taylor. There ain't a dud on this album (funny, but my least favorite song is "Chicken Fried"). I hope they win at the Grammy's and I look forward to their next release.
